Student’s with postgraduate degrees earn far more, on average, than those without. The application process is different to that at undergraduate level but requires the same level of accuracy and detail, if not more. All of our postgraduate study abroad consultants are educated to Master’s or PhD level, working in academia and therefore ideally placed to advise and assist you with your application.
Through virtual or face to face meetings with your consultant, we will build up a picture of your academic and non-academic background, your potential career paths, future aspirations and educational needs. This allows to us to accurately match you to suitable postgraduate courses. We will suggest a list of courses that are particularly relevant for you and explain any additional action you may need to take to achieve an offer at these universities. Selecting the correct pathway is essential and we carry out thorough research to ensure that you have all of the information that you need to make the most informed decision. Your consultant will always be close by to answer any questions and to give you advice.
At this stage your postgraduate study abroad consultant will advise and mentor you as you fill out your application forms, in order to ensure that there are no mistakes. You will then receive detailed feedback on two drafts of your personal statement, the most important part of the application and your main opportunity to impress your chosen universities. Your consultant’s expert feedback will ensure the final version is a well structured, balanced, informative personal statement that effectively showcases your personality, achievements, experiences and future ambitions. Some courses require research proposals or portfolios that we will assist with where necessary.
Some postgraduate courses require you to sit an entrance exam. These exams aren’t easy- they’re designed to take you out of your comfort zone and test your limits. Our team of exam tutors and assessors have many years of experience in helping students to prepare for, and pass, entrance exams. We are able to provide tutors that specialise in all areas of academia at the highest levels.
Face to face with the leading academics and professors in your chosen subjects, it’s always best to be prepared. We will rigorously test your personal statement and subject knowledge through a series of challenging mock interviews so that when the time comes, you’ll be ready.
